Hit My Ride. Local television will never be the same again as the country’s top automotive custom car builders get together for the most innovative show ever to hit local television. “Hit My Ride” is an offshoot of 99.5 Hit FM’s popular Wednesday night 8pm show “HIT RIDES” which features the country’s “Aftermarket Mafia”, a group of young entrepreneurs engaged in the automotive aftermarket parts industry.
Composed of the country’s acknowledged king of bodykits Atoy Llave of A-Toy Bodykits; Sammy Liuson, distributors of Concept One wheels and Nitto tires; suspension specialist Arvin Lim of Bilstein and H&R Springs; and Benedict Go, the man who pioneered Xenon lighting for cars in the Philippines, together with Hit FM’s GM Dicky “Big Man” Aracama, will act as judges of the TV reality inspired show. Hit FM DJ Sam YG will host the half hour show dubbed as the “Hit My Ride”. “ It is a merry mix up of popular TV reality shows, only this time, anybody who owns a car will audition in front of us and convince us to why do we have to dress up his/her ride. Of course, a thick hide, pure guts and character helps. Because this time around, contestants will be on tv and the personality of the car owner is now also part of the winning criteria.” explains Liuson.
Target airing of the Hit My Ride show is on June on Solar Sports Channel. Hit My Ride is produced by the same production outfit that brought you the pace setting automotive show Auto Extreme of Ardie Lopez. |
